What to Expect
At Invision Eye Clinic, we believe a comprehensive eye exam should go beyond just checking if you need glasses. Our examinations include a thorough evaluation of your entire visual system; from your visual acuity, all the way to your retinal health. We use state of the art diagnostic equipment and extensive visual investigation to provide you with a holistic report on your eye health.
Our Examination Includes:
- Medical interview: A detailed review of your medical and ocular history as well as to identify your specific visual concerns
- Visual acuity testing: To determine the current state of your visual ability
- Refraction assessment: To determine the need for any vision correcting glasses
- Eye muscle function and coordination testing: Used to determine how well the eyes are able to work as a team
- Peripheral vision testing
- Intraocular pressure measurement: To assess for high eye pressure
- Examination of ocular structures: To ensure the health of structures such as the cornea, retina, and optic nerve
- Ocular imaging: Each eye exam includes digital retinal imaging as well as an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) image of the eye to further evaluate the deeper layers of the retina

Our doctors will go over the results of the eye exam, ensuring that you understand and are included in the treatment and decision process.
