Dr. Nijesh Shah
Dr. Nijesh Shah was introduced to optometry while growing up in Mumbai by his father, an optician and refractionist. Knowing he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Shah took a keen interest in eyecare, technology, and business practice. During this time, he learnt the importance of providing thorough patient care while also fostering strong doctor-patient relationships with patients.
Dr. Shah received his license from the Waterloo School of Optometry in 2009 after completing a Comprehensive Optometry and Paediatrics residency from the LVP and SN Hospital in India and is well versed in paediatric myopia management, dry eye disease, and specialty contact lenses. He has served as both a primary and secondary clinical investigator in studies involving contact lenses and contact lens solutions.
